An emergency call to a little bit of sanity !!!!!!!
This is the time, Shira and I and friends who are accompanying us and struggling together with us,many many years in our musical career and peace activism, to share with you, our thoughts, plans and our emergency call for peace …
In our land, when the word “peace” is mentioned, transmitted or heard, suddenly appears a yellow fake smile on the faces of people, or an expression of mockery, and the most painful feeling is when I see those faces who lost hope so much time ago, by the way my face is also one of those faces many times, and I totally accept and understand all of these expressions and feelings, and I never blame those faces! Actually there is nothing to blame them for, because the situation is such a complex, chaos and very very painful, but suddenly a feeling of duty wakes up inside my heart and mind, and a desire to act starts to move my soul and body first only as a human being, and then as an artist, that must revive hope and sow faith again, and prove that peace is possible! I do not have faith in the old, current and future political plans, that the current leaders offer and plan, it is only egoist stupid adult’s games that have gone on for so long, but rather a belief in humanity! Believing that we are all born from the same seed of love, believing in the people that belong to this land, the nations, that after all the suffer and the wars and the loss are still trying to live and coexist with each other, and are still calling for human solidarity, day by day to stand against those tricks, and try to end the psychological and actual occupation.
Shira and I met few years ago in the Shakti women’s festival to enhance the spirit and role of Palestinian Arab women and Israeli-Jewish women, as struggling women in this male society first, and secondly to strengthen relations between women of the two peoples as mothers and women who believe in peace, who believe that the situation must be changed, and we need to find a solution, so this was a meeting of love and friendship from the first moment, and from that day we did not separate, we sang together on several theaters, and Shwai shwai ( step by step ) we had a revelation 😊 It’s name “the tent of peace”, we returned to the ancient past a lot until we reached Abraham, Hagar and Serah….. a tent that invites every person regardless his religious, cultural, ethnic, identity and backgrounds….. We are all the daughters and sons of the same God and we all belong to this holy land, a space that has a place to all of us! So Come with us to lift up together our prayers and songs, and share with us our and your dreams and plans, to raise our motivation to work for peace and to believe again that peace is possible! ببلادنا، لما منقول أو منسمع كلمة سلام فجأة بشوف هالابتسامة الصفرا على وجوه الناس، أو تعبير عن الاستهزاء، والي بوجع أكتر هو الوجوه اللي فاقدة الأمل، وهالوجه كتير مرات بكون وجهي أنا كمان! وأنا متقبلة ومتفهمة لكل هاي التعابير والأحاسيس عالآخر، وما بلوم بالمرة! وفش أصلا مجال للوم، لأنه الوضع مركب وموجع جدا، بس فجأة بيفيق هالواجب اللي بقلبي كأنسانة أولا، ومن ثم كفنانة أنو لازم نحيي الأمل ونزرع الأيمان من جديد، ونثبت أنو السلام ممكن! طبعا مش أيمانا بالخطط السياسية القديمة، الحالية والمستقبلية، وعنجهية القادة وألاعيب الكبار اللي طولت كتير، وأنما أيمانا بالانسان! أيمانا أنو كلنا ولدنا من بذرة المحبة، أيمانا بالشعب اللي مع كل اللي مرقه بعده عم يغدر يحاول أنو يعيش ويتعايش مع بعضه، ويحاول يوميا يوقف ضد هالألاعيب، ويحاول ينهي الاحتلال النفسي والفعلي على أرض هالبلاد المقدسة.
أنا وشيرا التقينا قبل سنوات في مهرجان نسائي لتعزيز روح ودور المرأة العربية الفلسطينية، والمرأة اليهودية الأسرائيلية، كنساء مناضلات في هالمجتمع الذكوري أولا، وتانيا لتعزيز العلاقات بين نساء الشعبين كأمهات ونساء مؤمنات بالسلام أو عالقليلة مؤمنات أنو لازم هالوضع يتغير، ولازم نلاقي حل، فكان هاللقاء لقاء محبة وصداقة من اللحظة الأولى، ومن يومها ما تفارقنا، غنينا سوا على عدة مسارح، وشوي شوي أجانا الوحي 😊 عرض اسمه خيمة السلام، رجعنا للماضي القديم كتير لحتى وصلنا ابراهيم، هاجر وسارة….. خيمة اللي بتدعو كل انسان بغض النظر عن خلفيته الدينية، العرقية، الثقافية ….. وبتقلو احنا ابناء وبنات الله الواحد وهالبقعة المقدسة وهدا مكان بيوسع كل القلوب فتعالوا معنا نرفع أغنياتنا وصلواتنا ونشارك بعض أحلامنا ومخططاتنا ونرفع هالمعنويات أنو السلام ممكن! لأنه فعلا ممكن، وغيرنا حصل عليه بعد حروب طاحنة ووحشية متل ليبيريا وغيرها … سجلوا التاريخ 14.03.2020 منستناكو أنا وشيرا في مركز سوزان دلال، معلومات أكتر بالأفنت أدناه. سلام!
